You Are Invited! Community Input Sessions

These past months of adapting to a pandemic and witnessing the impact of social and racial inequity have emphasized some simple truths.

We are in this together.
Genuine community connection is key.
Disparity is vicious.
Creativity and collaboration are more important than ever.

During this time here at co:lab we’ve continued to explore a new coworking space in the Minneapolis area, dreaming of a place to work outside our homes, envisioning ways to connect and support small businesses as so many struggle to stay afloat, wondering how we might build bridges and broaden networks and break out of comfort zones for richer collaboration and deeper impact. After months of research, we’ve got the basic framework for a coworking community and space that attempts to do all of the above.

co:lab aims to be a platform where bright minds of all backgrounds and experiences come together to get inspired and focused, trade insights and perspectives, share strengths and purposes, build networks and partnerships, do great work and share it with the world.

The physical space won’t open until 2022. But the community is growing now. Consider this your invitation to join in the fun of building something new with some of the best and brightest in the Twin Cities’ small business community (and beyond!).

If you would like to hear more about what we are planning and add your voice and ideas to the mix, we’d love to have you participate in on one, some, or all of our community input sessions held via Zoom over the next few months. You'll meet like-purposed people and help shape a community and space that empowers you to do your best work (no offense to your kitchen table).
